Crafty von Catenstein
Have you ever wished your cat would help out more with craft projects? Aside from sitting and shedding fur on them, I mean. Well then this fellow is for you. Crafty von Catenstein is a cat stitched together out of some very useful things: a pincushion for a head, a small zippered pouch for a body, one needle case arm, one clip on tool holder arm, and a roll up case leg. One leg is missing right now - I haven't decided what that will be yet.
The zippered pouch is about 2" by 2" by 4". The needle case has two 'pages' of felt sewn inside to place pins and needles into and closes with a button. It's about 4" by 2". The roll up case is 7" tall by 6" across when opened and has a pocket sewn into 6 channels. It can hold crochet hooks, pens, scalpels, tweezers, anything long and thin.
The tool holder has a plastic strap that's snapped around a handle and then the whole thing can be clipped anywhere, like onto a belt or apron. A retracting cord allows you to pull it away from yourself to use - when you let it go it snaps back into place. I use one to keep track of my scissors.
